HYCM relocates to landmark new Cyprus office to spearhead its European expansion plans.


Henyep Investment Bank changes its name to Henyep Capital Markets (DIFC) Ltd entering its 10th year of operations for clients. The Group consolidates capital markets investment brands and launches HYCM.com, a multi-platform online trading website.


Henyep acquires FTSL Financial Trading Solutions Ltd, a CySEC regulated investment firm (CySEC #259/14). FTSL is renamed HYCM Europe Ltd.


Henyep incubates and invests in WeCollect to focus on providing international companies with China payment solutions.

Henyep Investment Bank becomes one of the first firms to be granted a Retail Endorsement by the DFSA, allowing it to undertake financial services for retail clients.


Henyep Investment (UK) Ltd granted permission by the FCA to undertake activities for private customers.


Henyep Investment Bank established in Dubai, UAE and granted licence by Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).


Henyep Wealth Management and Henyep Asset Management founded in response to global clients’ investment needs.

Henyep Investment launches HY Trader Internet trading platform linking affiliates with real-time access to information.


Henyep Investment (UK) Limited granted licence by the Securities and Futures Authority of the United Kingdom (now the Financial Conduct Authority).


Henyep relocates trading operations to London affirming its presence as a global financial institution with over 50 affiliates in 4 continents.


Henyep Properties enters the China property market in joint-venture with China Construction Bank.

Henyep becomes founding member of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange.


Chairman of Henyep approved as a member of the Commodities Exchange of New York (COMEX). Henyep establishes 25th overseas office now operating on 4 continents.



Henyep Securities founded as a member of the Far East Stock Exchange. Kam Ngan Stock Exchange Henyep commodities founded as a member of the Hong Kong Commodities Exchange.


Henyep Gold Dealers founded as a member of the Hong Kong Gold and Silver Exchange Society.


Henyep continues to give back to the community through its charity arm the Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation set up by Prof. Alice Chiu Tsang Hok Wan, BBS, JP and Mr. Louis Chiu Sheen Charm. The Foundation is one of the most respected and active in Greater China, supporting many causes and organisations including Operation Smile, Hong Kong AIDS Foundation and The Community Chest of Hong Kong.


The Group continues to experience growth in all its business units. Its Financial Services arm has expanded its main operating divisions including HY Credit, a consumer finance company focused on mortgage loans. Direct investment remains a key part of the Group’s growth strategy, making several investments into Internet and Fintech related ventures.
